new data required for airfreight shipments to egypt
What is changing? For all shipments to Egypt, three data elements will be mandatory at MAWB and HAWB level as of April 15, 2022:
1. ACID number
2. Consignee Code issued by Egyptian tax authority
3. Consignor VAT or Registration number as issued by appropriate authority in exporter’s home country.
In case of disregard the shipments cannot be accepted and no customs clearance will be possible.
