switzerland-united kingdom – aeo mutual recognition agreement in force

Ratification has now also been completed on the British side, so that the agreement on the mutual recognition of the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) between Switzerland and the United Kingdom has been in force since 1^st September, 2021. Companies with AEO status are considered reliable in terms of international supply chain security, which makes it easier for them to trade bilaterally. They benefit from privileges in security-related customs controls and simplifications in customs clearance.
